hi Traveller,
yes, is possible to reach the festival thru the ferryboat. A taxi from airport to the ferry station is around 15,00 euro. The ferry ticket is around 1,00 euro. After the ferry, at the othe side of the bay you may get a bus till Ituberá (around 5 euro)... but you can also share a taxi with someone (around 45,00 euro, till the festival).
other option is to use a transfer service, available on UP website ( http://www.universoparalello.art.br/english/excursions.html )...
as promised, a new update of the festival's making-of (not really updated, our websedigner can't follow the rhythm of the work on the beach)

very nice main dancefloor line up 
for sure its one of the best prog-oriented festivals in the world.
but the chill line up its not up to the level of those wonderfull seaside views... c'mon! i had heard that Earthling was on the line up, but as far as i can read here they told me wrong...
big up for the dub crew, for sure there are some nice brazilian rootsy dub acts. Shwe Dagon chillas also released some niiiice tunes this year (@ Synergetic Recs, VA-Hammock2)), very well produced stuff.
but anyway...
A festival with such big names on the dancefloor (and its wonderfull beaches ) deserved at least 1 or 2 top international names like those of Celli/Earthling, Androcell, Ott, Entheogenic, Bluetech, Gaudi, Ooze (who, i believe, played there once), Shpongle, Phutureprimitive, Kukan and any other name capable of providing out of this world beach psychedelia.
if they want "alternative chillspace" why not some great dub/reggae act by the beach... Zion Train, Alpha Omega, Groundation (ok, that`s unreal)...
Anyway, the best of luck to this festival. I`m pretty sure it will be wonderfull.

I'll soon make a complete review for u guys.
For now, I can only say that it was something MAGIC.
I have no words to describe this festival.
The beach, the weather, the most beautiful girls in the world, and the high quality sound. All this together to create something undescribeable!!
