made in remission:
This work started as a simple project to demonstrate to my friend oversea a couple of techniques on FL..
I only used native plug-ins so he could open the .flp file without installing VSTs.
I went overkill and made it too complicated then decided to make an entire track. now i wanted to share it here on a old post by DH to produce by native DAW alone. -cant find it
i made this based on the concept that MORE is MORE,, not less.
more attention given to parts than to whole. unromantic but still a complete story.
NO 3rd-party Plugs were used.
Also, NO samples or loops were used,. exculding the VOCAL , which i extracted from a old rare selfmade jack nickleson production called "The Trip". the voice is dennis hopper. briljant scene where he forces the main character to self-judge.
All sounds are synthetic, even the cymbals were crafted with FL Drum synthesizer.
This version was mastered by a well-known mastering studio.
I payed for mastering to get an idea of what pro mastering can do for me. happy with the results.
what do you think??
where can i improve?

The mix is balanced pretty good. Maybe i would lower few Leads/fx. A clap or snare can make your track more dancy. The bassline isn't so good. It's sounds to me like lame source. And the kick is too short and little bit painful. i would lower little bit some freqs at the 3000hz area. When you moved to triplets some sounds weird to me, like the kick and bass are not totaly in sync. and make your open hh shine more.

i understand/.
in retrospect, even i wouldnt listen to it more than once.
that said after 1000s of listens. ironic
next song ill focus more on tranceflow instead.. just dont want to make same old mindless boring drone
vanilla icetea with little bit of cinnamon.

wow man, very creative! honestly i prefer tracks that have this type of structure - i get sick of hearing the verse chorus verse chorus bridge chorus chorus equivalent in psytrance.
good to hear stuff like this once in a while!

i appreciate the feedback. thx eqme
yeah its ok i guess for a listen. definitely not a dance floor hit. it is what it is, eletro-shenanigans
started something today more in the Trance vein,, using all the expensive toys. perhaps this will sit better with the mob.
spaced out disco dance.
btw, some of ur tracks on soundcloud is very well done. real good stuff. im in calgary. if i drive west sometime we should meet.
