does anyone know a way for me to hook up my drum pads to the cpu other than buying a us$1.500,00 drum machine like clavia's?
i've been trying to come up with a way since early 2001 and my drum pads just keep on getting older.
i'll never use drum loops, i want my signature on my trax, plus i also plan on working live with the drumkit.
apreciate any help. thanx |

I have the drumpads only, i need to figure out a way...
do u know if i could buy a motu, with 10 inputs which i could connect the drumpads,
to connect each pad directly into the software? that would save me lots$$$, cause i also need a new soundboard. |

thank u so much psyx and superglue
Exactly, for me to get that drum unique sound, i need some way to plug these pads into the cpu, and in there sort out my sounds. the only drum
modul/sampler that can import sounds is clavia's ($$$$$) . without an import option, i cant go through with my objectives.

Clavia is not the only one that does it !!!
Yamaha does it too !!!
If u already own a drumkit, you can buy midi-triggers, wich will make your drum-"hits" into midi notes...the only thing you have 2 do is replace those notes with the desired sounds... |

I'm not sure this is what you want, but the Alesis DM Pro has 10 trigger inputs and should not cost you the earth and sun to buy. You get the added benefit of decent quality drum samples too... |
