Remix competitions seem to quite a fad these days, but check this out:
Union Jack lets you remix RED HERRING!!!! For Free!! My alltime favorite piece of music ever created, the reason I got into trance in the first place!!! And I get the chance to butcher it!
Given the fact that I am a bloody beginner that is absolutely gonna murder this timeless classic I don`t know if I`ll participate, but I sure as hell will download the parts so I can mess with them once I have become better. Anyways, I am ecstatic 
Heres the official text:
"Arch-trance-sters Union jack come up with a neat excursion on the remix-our-track competition. Giving you a chance to remix not just 1 but 2 of their tracks.
The first is the immortal classic Red Herring and the second is their brilliant single Papillon from their latest album Pylon Pigs.
The best mixes will become part of the upcoming Union Jack Retrospective which will contain exclusive new bonus tracks and re-mastered versions.
Taking part of this remix competition means you are now allowed to share any of the remix parts or your remix as part of the competition. The remix competition starts today and lasts until Wednesday the 11th of May at 12 PM CET.

I am not impressed with the audio files. Example the 303 loops are long files and are not cut properly which makes it a bit harder to get them into sync with the rest - especially if you are time stretching the whole lot.
Not very professional.

Definitely not perfect.

Yes but the few samples worked flawless (and even had the bassline as a midi file) and it was not a "professional" competition

The animal/monk samples and the midi file was all we needed.
Download the packs, not sure when we are going to have a go, but its going to be done!
