very interesting, can you explain this better?

What i m doing right now is, i have two leads with playing the same midi, I automate the cutoff of both leds, so when one cutoff is low the other will be high, and then so

or i just automate the cutoff of one synth to open just at the end of the line, while the other synth play the same line. I like the effect so far...still experimenting.

That also sounds very interesting,
what I meant is automate the pitch on your track, really nice in FL Studio this one. The you paint in your automation, and then you reautomate that automation click with time, and then run an lfo over that automation parameter... can get pretty weird at times...           Upavas - Here And Now (Sangoma Rec.) new EP out Oct.29th, get it here:

Increasing the dry/wet amount of reverb on a clap or snare for the last few hits before a new phrase. I haven't used this one, but heard it recently in a track and it sounded nice/added to the build to a new phrase. The instance I heard, the dry/wet was probably brought all the way up to 100% so it sounded like the hits were in a very large room.

You mean like every minimal techno track around??

Really? The minimal I've listened to doesn't use this very often at all...           http://soundcloud.com/ascensionsound

Most of the time I think they are automating the Decay and not the wet/dry....           http://www.myspace.com/fragletrollet

Kore 2 (and 1) allows you to do this, you can take up to 6 snap shots of synth and then morph between the snap shots with the knobs on the hardware.

FXpansions DCAM: Synth Squad also allows you to morph between presets....

From 8.00 onwards>>>

If I use this technique I'll use an fx chanel with a reverb (100% wet),
automate the the send level on the channel I want the reveb to effect
and then bounce down the the audio from the fx channel.

That way I have full control over the reverb effect, which allows me to do other stuff like edits ect.

I have a question regarding send fx:

How do you manage to use send FX without the volume of that particular track to go up together with the amount of send %?

If the plugin on the send has a mix control, make sure it's set to 100% wet. The FX return must contain no dry signal. Alternatively you may need to automate the main channel level as you turn the send up. Depending on the plugin you're using you might also want to check that it's not introducing lots of bass or other frequencies you don't want; in this case EQing the return might be necessary.           Mastering - http://mastering.OOOD.net :: www.is.gd/mastering

Thanks.
I should be able to get it done now.

Damn i hate automations, but a track without them is lame. Anyway good topic here, giving me some inspiration.

super common.. but i'm just learning it and its so cool! but if you can set your delay to repitch mode and Hz.. then automating the time is super cool! mr. bill did an awesome tutorial on it.

also about morphing presets.. fm8 also has its thing where you can set up 4 presets and use xy to morph... I don't know exactly what its doing though.. as I just got the synth last month and am retarded.

pitchshifting kick, bass, percs and HH at the same time (bounce the part) gives funny effects.

just tried it out yesterday.           www.soundcloud.com/orgytime

Runnning two samples of the same clip, one un-modified and one with an inverted waveform, then panning one left and the other right in unison. Wicked almost binaural effect.
