unable to hear imported MIDI

i recently started creating music on cubase sx3
i got a bunch of midi files on my computer
when i play them using media player everything is ok
but when i import one of them to cubase...
it opens up in separate channels with the notes and everything and even the volume bars are bouncing and all but i can't hear a thing
can anyone help? thanxxx =)

ok,i know it is stupid but you actually have to connect every chanel with a vst instrument!

Does imported audio clips play? If not, your sound card is not set up.
Or.. you haven't set the output of the midi track to a VST.
Hit F11 to bring up instruments to choose from. |
