OK, after trying a few, the winner is TinyXP Beast edition, that shit is amazing, it just flies super fast!!!!
Plus it looks amazing.
It is a must, believe my words.

what is the difference between beast and the other versions? i got a tinyXP without net, maybe someone knows what .rev it is, im not sure.

Just a quick question, when installing TinyXP Beast edition does it give you the option to format the hard disk?

Yes, you format and installs super fast, it like a super fast airplane.
Install it, it will change your working flow, extremely fast and stable.
The best TinyXP version!!!!

Another more nerdy but highly effective alternative is to download an application called nLite ( http://www.nliteos.com). With it you can slipstream your Windows XP installation CD to match your preferences. Then nLite creates a new CD, based on what you chose to include in WinXP. Simply put: nLite is a tool that makes it possible for you to customize winXP, which makes it very interesting for music production purposes.
It's also said that it's possible to integrate external drivers with nLite, like for instance soundcard and graphic card drivers.

Is it possible to use wireless networks with this version? I'm thinking of installing it but the thought of installing all the software again scares me..
Does anyone know of a way to transfer all your existing installed vst's & stuff to a pc with a fresh installation of xp, without having to manually install each one again?

Wireless works great with it, I got it installed on my HP dv6171cl laptop wireless is fine, plus on another machine, its superb!!!!

i just intalled it and works sweet im just facing an issue that im not sure if this xp vesrion is causing it. I order to use apps like emule o utorrent i must open ports in my firewall modem, precoess ive done a hundred times without any single problem., after installing beats edition i tried to open ports as usual , but when checking if they are open...surprise they are not., apparently the modem is set to open them but im guessing maybe the xp version has some service removed thta has something to do with...to me has no sense, i mean the wifi works great i dont know wich windows service could have been removed or weheres the problem here. Maybe someone could hep me out |
