Inter milan vs Manclit united..huge match.
cmon..screw the english junk..lets show them who's the boss in europe.
Juventus vs chelsea will be big, so will the arsenal roma show... i think i will predict my choices 1 week before the games..since we will know who is performing well at the domestic front....on this date..inter and roma will screw..man u and arsenal for sure.
man..champions league couldn't get better then this..inter milan again have to prove their mettle..mister mourinho..take care.

Yes maybe Juve will pay some money AGAIN, and they will go further  ...
I am for Liverpool, don't like Chelsea thou, but I LOVE the premere league, for me THE BEST ONE, but I can't stand those italiano-look-my-beautiful-hair "footballers", it's so fucking fancy, from the begining they've ruined the whole meaning of football, all that crappy catanaggio thing, can't stand to watch it...

errrrrrrrrrrrr.......
i cant stand look at my hair footballers too......but saying they are all italian is bullshit..!!!look at ronaldo....best footballer of 2008....
and for italians ruining the meaning of football.....well first you have to learn about football.....then you will see our 4 world cups playing catenaccio.....then you will understand that: one is football, the other is an arcade game: where people run more, score more, do not defend....i.e do not play football......
i.e. they need an italian coach to try and win something for a change.....
if you cant understand tactics......why insult them.....?!
juve were paying money in italy....but in europe were still reaching the final of the champions....
anyways....to each his own....but never trash the culture of a country by taking some stupid image that critics put up in the last 10 years...especially when you have a national team who has won more.....and when the team that won the most international championships is italian (milan),......

Hey you've got me all wrong man...
I've got nothing against italian nation or culture, I said nothing bad about it, don't know where you read that, you totally misunderstood me...
I've just expressed my subjective opinion about the things I see on the matches where italian teams play... I don't like that shot-pass play, all those fake falling, stopping the time, slowing the game, defensive game... I am aware that is just a TACTIC!!!
Look like all the italians teams play on all the european cups, even on the euro championships or world cups, for example the last one, they were playing catenaccio in all the games, for me it's very boring...
Even the team I love - Liverpool plays sometimes that kind of football, I hate them when they play like them, but when you love a team you support them all the way, I can feel you in that totally...
And for the Calcio league, the things that have happened there some years ago were very bad, they should shame about it, where is the sport spirit?? All those well-payed fixed matches are pretty much depressing... It's good that they've put Juve in the second league, but the question is - are they not gonna do that again???
So be cool my friend, I understand you in some way, don't be offended by my opinion, I just want to see more fast and most inportant fair football matches.. that's all...

is it because italian officials were strict enough to catch hold of few people (the moggi fucker) who brought the name of JUVENTUS down and putting down your reasoning as "what the media tells me i'll believe it"
These match fixing scandals are happening all over europe too bad only italian teams came on the surface..and we should appreciate the italian officials who corrected the scum from the league.
and lets not even get into the credentials of juventus as a club.
And personally defense is a part of football strategy..if only scoring GOALS is concerned then im afraid that person might not understand football as a game, and should get back to EA sports FIFA 2009 arcade mode.

And there could be bigger things which can ruin football instead of Tactical game, moreover strategy is a part of football, why not use it ?

Well in fact my "accusations" are maybe strong... I understand you guys, but again the question is do we need to concert about those "facts" and media "truth"?? I think all the teams from all around the world should take the example from the italian league and MUST consider thinking of it... I know there were fixed matches not only in the past and not only in Italy, there are so many dirty things EVERYWHERE - EVERYDAY...
Every God damn team officials should consider this issue, it's for the sport spirit, for the fans, for the football itself, some things are priceless... Nowdays the football is all about money, for example look at the todays champions league, there are BIG and SMALL teams... why like that?? but again that is another thing to discuss...
And I DO RESPECT the teams that won some leagues and championships, but don't like the tactic and the way they played all the way through, it's an individual thing to say - YES, and I must say that I like more fast and dynamical football, that's me, I do not like that strategy and that doesn't mean I don't know anything about football.. I live the football everyday too guys... That's why I am replying this

well I still remember last year how Liverpool and Arsenal gave some lessons of football to Italians. btw. we live in present so who cares about past. for example Real Madrid won 10 times the champions now they suck so what do we have on past?!
and the Premier League is not anymore as it was, if you look at the play of Arsenal or Liverpool it has nothing to do with english football. I am not saying is better then Italian football it's just more spectacular to watch, and what I don't like of italian strategy is to score once and form then hang with all the team in deffence.

^Credentials are always looked at how a certain club has performed in the past.
Man clit united winning the champions leagues is also a past glory, i am sure you people also like a club because of what they have done in the past.
IMO Real madrid doesn't suck, real madrid has going through a tough patch which every team does, i don't understand why we cant appreciate our clubs when they are down and out, that's when they need our true support..for example we talk about juventus again when they demoted to Serie B, buffon, nedved, del piero all stayed why ? because they not only play for the club they support it in adversity.
besides i love stats and madrid has only won 9 times in european cup.

hey cannibal...i see what your are saying.....and it is perfectly honest and true....english football is more "arcade" faster...etc
i aprreciate the good aspects too....
problem is that now there is the fashionable trend of taking the italians as the example of unfairness, defensive boring football, look at my hair footballers and the list goes on....
you are right past doesnt count....but history does.....and the history of this sport stills turns around italian football.....first of all (cos everyone seems to forget) WE ARE STILL WORLD CHAMPIONS!!!!
football is a game of fitness, strength, speed (more recently) but especially....tactics and technique....the italians concentrate more on the latter two.....making it slower and maybe boring....but if you like football, thats what you have to at least appreciate..... and not discredit the style cos you like it less and find it less entertaining....especially if it makes you win more!!!!

for sure this period (5 years) english teams are very strong and will continue to be for the years ahead....but the last decade.....there was one team playing and winning the most....it was italian....but wasnt playing catenaccio.....and it was MILAN...!!
but people hated soo much italian football they counldnt even recognise the quality MILAN was expressing....just going on and on with the english tale: Italian football is boring!!
my argument on the italian fottball scandal was just to say that if juve or milan "stole" in italy....they still managed to win in europe, where you cant fix matches...demonstrating their edge...!
anyways.....good thing is that we all like this beautiful sport....!!

Well actually this is not true at all.
I remember my team Olympique Marseille getting relegated in 1994 during the Tapi era (after they won the C.L) because they fixed a game against Valenciennes.
I remember the Hoyzer case few years ago in Germany where many players,teams and referees were accused for setting up football matches and some people ended up in jail.
I remember the Grobelar setting up matches case when he was playing for my other team Liverpool in England and i am also aware of various english scandals including players setting up matches and managers getting under the table money which resulted in many managers loosing their license and famous coaches like Sam Allardyce facing huge problems with the law.
And last but not least i hope you are all informed about the recent news concerning the Spanish Liga scandal where tapes leaked to the press with team presidents setting up matches with opposite team players.
Corruption is everywhere and sooner or later everything comes on the surface,how the various football associations deal with this corruption is another matter.
I was very glad that the italian football association punished some teams some years ago and i hope that they serve as an example to other associations too.
