Any 1 have any experience using UAD pluguins for psytrance?
I bought the FATSO, its just awesome for hihats and much more stuff.
I still have 300 dollars to spend, and I realy need a good sounding EQ, I tried the Neve 1073, the Neve 1081 and the Harrison. But still dont know witch one I pick up.

Hummmm I heard realy well about cambridge, but not was an musical EQ, he is great has a surgical EQ (low cuts / hi cuts / hi Q cuts).
About the precision multiband and limiter, it is not mastering made plugins? Im realy dont want master plugins, only mix.
And about the farchild, I got the LA-2A and the 1176LN for free with the december 2009 promotion, so is that realy a need?
I heard good things about the Neve 88RS, great sounding compresor and Eq, but not musical as like the 1073 or 1083. And also it makes low use of the dsp card.
You guys should try the Fatso, its realy expansive but dude, check it out in your hi hats, its just amazing.

Well, yes Cambridge is surgical, though i think it really worth buying anyway. You can't mix without cutting something out
As to precision - yes, mostly the limiter and multi band compressor are used for mastering. I have Multiband only because i need to premaster unreleased tracks for parties. So it is very useful for me.
As for musical eq for boosting i really didn't find my favorite yet. Unfortunately I didn't try neve eq, but I guess they are good.
Btw, check this article:
