yep nice ! if one day i m thinking going back to pc good to see a alternative to metric halo as high end interface..assuming it sound great and it s rock stable with low latency.
but too much overkill for my use and many producers..they will probably do one with less preamp and i/o in the futur that would be great. |

guys any more info on this ? i was planning on adding a RME interface + uad dsp duo satellite until i came across the apollo (also has quad dsp like mentioned above )will this dsp power support also my daw in use , plugins of choice like sylenth , Virus etc ? sounds like a better option than the rme + uad dsp 2 combination . or is it a better bet to buy the uad seperately for better stability , performance , convinience etc ?

no only the uad plugins run on the card dsp
if you want more power and don't care about their plugins a modern pc is way more powerfull.
if the interface will be a good buy, no one no yet mate, it will depends how stable it is, if the driver is nice and the sound ... |

if mac only it s probably cause they dont want to deal with all the pc firewire issue that would be a nightmare to track problems and give a good support .
pc laptop and firewire for audio production , you need as much luck as wining loto |
