UAD-1 anyone?

Yeah so, i just wanna know if anyone got the UAD-1 card/plugs and if you like it? Im asking cause they are fairly affordable used and my intention was they would take some workload of my pc. so, are they worth invesing in? Cheers |

yes its a very good tip to get one for the low price they are offered now 2nd hand. its pci so you need space in your desktop. check with what plugs it comes (uad site), there are different packages.
use the search and you can see that we like it. i do. |

Great plugs!
The problem is that with the uad-1 you can use very few plugins at the same time. They vary ofc in cpu usage but don't expect to run a whole bunch.
I have 2 cards and still feel it very limiting.
But the quality is good.
The uad-2 on the other hand is many times more efficient and might be the one to look at.
