i bought Aquatic serenade not to long ago and found it to be an absolutely incredible album - this project has an AMAZING sound and some awesome production!!!
so can you lovely people recommend me som albums/compilations of a similar quality and style - i don't really have any of this kind of psy

well, if u haven't heard Cosma- Nonstop yet, so the time has come  . beside that, i really can't think of a similar artist, that's why u-recken's album is great. u can also check his and Nitro's compilation- Enemies & Allies (Dooflex).

Yeah, it might suit you as well, but I'd listen to it first online. Saikosounds is a good place to check it out, they have the longest samples.

this album kills me.
here is why: the production is excellent, yes... well put together, very tight (damn good bassline!), and i simply adore the ethnic/world sounds dispersed throughout the album.
the problem.... BAD SAMPLING. uncomfortable sounding lyrics at times. (i don't want to say cheesy because i find that word incredibly overused -- oops! i already said it ) anyway, i found this to be a big problem with a lot of psytrance produced about four or five years ago.
the whole issue reminds me of the sweetest, creamiest, yummiest milk gone sour.
for me, less is always more...

listen to it on saikosounds.com, they put 4 lminutes of every song online...
ur point of view is the only one that matters when buying a cd anyway... |
