i sometimes loose my train of thought when im typing a long post coz i suck at typing ( one letter one finger ) 
is it essential to learn how to type well in order to post something huge ? or do you guys have like a first draft before you actually post your stuff ( i mean long threads ?))

Don't think you need to learn how to type....I'm also typing with two fingers....  But if you're posting long post it will just take you longer to write them down...

i dont think its necessary to learn how to type...
i use computer for more then twenty years now and still use my special 6 finger system
tough i went to it-school and i´ve an it-job...
typing in a more structered way and not taking so much drugs will help you
not to forget so much while writing a long thread
- last possible solution
- trick music

I usually type fast and leave out whole words, besides making typos. Sometimes I read back on what I wrote to correct things, sometimes I edit my posts, sometimes I can't be bothered.

sumtimes i just start typing whatever comes to mind, huge or small, never know, sumtimes it ends soon but sumtimes just goes on n end up in a long post. But i review it once i am done & also yet again review once i submit to see how it looks like in the end.
Yes but it happens that i lose the plot while typing & then i hang up for a minute, think over & start again after catching up with the lost end.

Being a software programmer I type 14 hours a day. Typing is my bread and butter. I type more and write less. I remember in my last exam I had trouble finishing my paper coz i couldnt write for 3 hours. Geeguz!

I type at 40 words per min, which is not that fast and my accuracy is only 70% ... I dont lose my train of thought when Im typing, but I gather so many more thoughts once Ive already posted what ive typed!
I type and post and then go back every 30 seconds to make some change either add or delete or even put a comma here or there!.. I keep goin back and making changes till finally the server tells me I cant do it anymore!
P.s I added the first line of this post after hitting the 'edit' key twice already Nothing is said that has not been said before. |
