Raver , put this in the main section !! cool topic
imho trance is the most danceble music ... no question about it ... the only music which allows ppl to dance in any way the want , and actually any way they feel it .. and then the most beautiful dance come out !! there are ppl that dance on 1 m^2 for 3-4 hours while others at the same time cover a huge kilometrage , some dance with hands , others like jumping like crasy ... no matter what , if the music is good - every cell of your body is busy ...
and there is different dance for different music as usual .. so the music actually defines the way u dance , its not up to u at all ( not up to myself , that's i know for sure ) ....
btw , i paid attention that goa melodies do make u to close your eyes and really give u a flight feeling ... and make u turn around like svivon !!!! those probably are the only moments when i completly lose orientation and can even fall down somewhere but in general , i don't let my legs to be on the ground simultaniously
Trance is the music !!!           Dance is my Trance

I catch myself dancing with closed eyes sometimes, especially at night... I mean, you feel like you're the only one in the world, and it can be a beautiful feeling. Of course, the morning is a different story, then I'm just part of the tribe.           http://www.myspace.com/Hooloovoo222

I'm a different sort of freak....I just don't move that much, feet are planted on the ground and only the knees and the hips are moving...
that's the way I feel the groove...

and yes, closed eyes are most of the times a plus...

I totally agree with Chaka Laka,
there is no right or wrong way to dance ..
It's a "free" way of dancing and feeling.

Dance is the hidden language of the soul and the truest expression of people is in its dances and it's music.           Live for the journey, not the destination.

Dancing is something very spontaneous to me, though there is always something new, some new movement. At times I surprise myself and think, wow where did this one come from.

I don't dance, the music dances my body, and I try to keep my mind out of the whole process. That's trance for me.
Have you also noticed that people that really dance with the music and the rhythm are the most beautiful ones in the party, regardless if they fit our society set beauty standards? Check it out next time.           ---------------------------------------------

i think the djs and the sound have manipulation to ur movements:

Have u seen dj anti on voov? Lots of Hands Waving a smooth Dogfight in the Air - scy was getting liquid (yes, i was stoned)

Bim, the people are Smiling from ear to ear
..shakin asses

Spiralkinda.. lots of kickboxers and Ninjas on Dancefloor..

sometimes they want to touch the sound...
sometimes the sound burns the people in flames
sometimes they are getting grazy and dancefloor is like a popcornmaschine...

sometimes chakra is touched and they fly..

so wonderfull to watch the floor

BOOM

Well in Finland there's a dance style that's probably the most annoying one out there.
These people are referred as "raivo"(rage) or "piri jyrä"(amphetamin steamroller or something like that).
They are easy to identify. They dance without shirt and they are covered by aproximetly 2cm layer of sweat. They occupy about 5 meter x 5 meter area. The keep their eyes closed and make extremly agressive things. They hit their hands to every direction and kick their feet to every freaking place. Be aware!           "The dinosaurs became extinct because they didn't have a space program."

when i dance, i go to a whole new world ...
can anyone remind me what track that's from? i just remember it saying exactly how i mostly feel.
i normaly iwsh i could be at a party, feeling the vibe around, but still, keeping my eyes closed and absorbing the sounds, and letting the body fly
that's when i really like the music (and when there's not many big people around who will knock my teeth out while i have my eyes closed ).
though usually, it's the dancing like you're walking backwards, but you're not either that or like luiz, planting the feet down, and letting the body vibrate with the beat, anyway you take it, it's a whole new world

its Native's Radio my man

and traveller .... u don't have open air parties in Finland i guess ... ur sweet Texas Faggot and his other friend (hard name) - well they took off their shirts by 7-8 o'clock in the morning ... and danced like crazy (separately , one dance - one works) and didn't count the thickness of sweat layer of theirs but its hard not to sweat under our sun ... so .... i know it's different in clubs but still don't put yourself in such narrow bourders ... peace           Dance is my Trance
