I don't really care about finding out what scales and chords other psy artists use. Most of them are overused anyway. I suggest that you pick a scale and try making melodies within it to find out what it sounds like and whether it's suitable for your needs and the do the same with another scale and so on. Sure it's quite a job to go through a large number of scales, but you are bound to find ones that are interesting and above all original. |

scales only structure the harmony in a track, choosing one scale over another will just change the "colouring" of a piece of music, its mood, but whichever scale u go with the same problems of harmonization of the instruments 2 support the melody occur. its even possible to modulate(change scales during a track) like dark soho & deedrah for surprise & effect.
Dont choose & reuse particular scales blindly, learn how 2 use them for effect instead.
