No it does not get hot cos the sound card don't have any processors (sound blaster live) so it gets a bit hot but never too hot!!!

Foka ... i don't know how about yours, but mine - SBlive, had a processor ...
and everyone else's had too..it's called a EMU10k1 DSP,
it does all the "environmental" fx in sblive...
anyway, i saw screenshots of fried eggs made on an AMD..
don't remember where, i'd put here a link.
the guy simply removed the fan, and put the egg in foil made pan.
after that thought about making a cup of coffee on a P4..
but i have no P4

I don't know how, but it seems like the problem solved itself somehow.
I restarted my computer alot for a few days without having to reinstall the drivers.

But what i was talking about really work cos i had sound blaster live for quite a while and for sure it didn't burn, btw if anyone intrested i can sell it.
