two questions about the forum

1. how come i can't write something with a D, without it being a smily face?
2. is it postes (how many) or the length(how long)of time to be a member to go from Junior to Full Member to Senior?

I can answer your second question but not the first one (the first question is a very good one by the way).
To become a full member you have to post 51 messages and to become a senior member you have to post 101 messages.
It has nothing to do with the length of your message. Of course don't start writing nonsense just to become a senior member as quickly as possible.
I have another question.
How come the senior members have different colors. Some green for e.g. I don't think it has to do with how many messages you've posted

try not making it paralel to a ":" sign. other wise it will come out: :D

About the smiley thing, it should be only : and a D, the other ones when using " for example are bugs and you should nag ShivaS to fix it. ;-)

Every forum has it weak sides. I've seen many and seen some that has (disable smiles checkbox) this one doesn't has it [i]:)[/i]
