I don't think any of the Twisted crew need sticking up for and if you that's what you think I'm doing, you're kinda missing the point a bit. Take another look ar page four. You'll find hot potato dongle calling me (and my fellow enjoyees) "idiots" for being "deluded" enough to have actually had a good time, various members of the Twisted/related possee "muppets" and "ego-fuelled", as well as some priceless bits of "get a grip on what music is about once again" and "did you need to get a few compliments?" to some of psy's most consistantly creative contributers by pretty much anybody's standards. Just because he doesn't use the F-word or call anybody a "cockmonkey" doesn't mean the tone wasn't lowered right there and then, that it wasn't just as insulting to people like myself and SMN who enjoyed the show, and those who worked hard to get the evening organised. Since that post, there have been at least three references to "fat"/"diet"/"bulldog regarding another member, and a slice of sarcasm so thick it that I'm starting to wonder where the custard is. Perhaps cast in that light, some of the more colourful responses to the likes of Maux (who by his admission, wasn't even there for fuck's sake!) and the elusive HPD are more understandable to you??

Hey star, dont shoot the messenger ! As they say on Catchphrase , I was only saying what I saw. Kind of rich to go on about thickly laid sarcasm and then finish your own post with a large slice of it !
As I said I am only a neutral observer here and I wasnt sticking up for anybody, just pointing out who it was that came out with the actual insulting words here, as opposed to the other lad posting his opinion, which thoughb strongly expressed, contained no swear words but you just found hard to swallow. I really couldnt care less about the party or the politics behind it floatyflower. I wasnt even there so I cant comment. I have nothing against Twisted or the people who went there and had a good time. More power to them ! The upper classes have just as much right to have fun as does everyone else ! What I do find a bit rich (if you'll excuse the pun) is all the "trippy dippy" cliquey types you get on these forums (mostly on Psy-forum I'll admit) who seem to spend the better part of their day lambasting organisations like Antiworld and yet when Twisted make an (albeit valiant) attempt to break into the mainstream , they are outraged when inevitable criticism from some areas is levelled in their direction.
And floaty, again I'm not sticking up for anyone here, I wasnt at the party and I'm making observations here purely on what I read as a forum member, as is my right.

Everyone shut your pie hole and post some pictures or video's from the event or something. It was amazing, altough it sucked donkeyballs that the balcony wasn't open like was promised, so that the dancefloor was AGAIN overcrowded at times, and that the volume was turned down after Younger Brother. Apart from that I had one of the best nights of my life.

Inside-us-all/Pixel Addicts did an amazing job - the visuals actually MADE the night - cutting edge visual installation - hope to see more of that set-up again.

This is my last post on this thread.
Is to appologize in public to Ott about a certain missunderstanding when I quotted some Mauxuam's words about people being brainwashed and Ott being mentally masturbated by it...or something like that.
I said word, and I never meant it to Ott himself, I know the man and that's not what I think of him, even though I agree that there is a very unreasonable worshipping of the original Twisted artists, not only in the UK actually.
I particularly remember a Sonica06 night when Greg Hunter had to play after YB, the dance floor was packed during YB gig and emptied inmediately afterwards...which was sad, to say the least.
But that's another story, Ott and I know eachother for quite some time and we always respected each other very much, regardless of the huge amount of very good friends in common.
So for that, my sincere and honest apologies to Ott...but I still stand that there's an extremely unhealthy worshipping towards SP and everything with the word Twisted in ()
