I actually watched it last week. I hate it when the music is not synchronized with the video. It is especially bad when it is supposed to be live. You know... when there's a huge build up and people are dancing really slow- that sort of stuff.

I think that every page somebody should bring up that the person who's in trouble is Simon Holtom, the Twisted Records manager and not Simon Posford.

pretty sure everyone realises that. i think the point being made is that, instead of just complaining how downloading is affecting twisted records, maybe simon P should put his money where his mouth is and help out with the label a bit. it's pretty rare for a label to get *nothing* when an artist plays a live set, there is usually some % they get out of it |

Only if the Record Label is also the Booking Agency.
In theory, they are two totally different things. Record Label = printing, promotion, distribution of music and Booking Agency = gig manager.
It's not unusual for a Record Label to not bother with these things as it is an entirely different business.
I don't know how Twisted does this though.
And still, it's not the artists responsibility to keep a label alive by just giving them money when they need it. Simon P needs to make a decent living aswell, he can't just go and put his personal money into Twisted? That'd be a risky investment.
Record Labels should instead get money from people buying the stuff that they sell. This topic is here to help Twisted do that. People who think like you do are the exact reason Twisted is in trouble. "Meh, they probably make enough money so I can just download their music without paying anything". It doesn't work like that. |

Ahh realy ?... 
For sure a booking agency and a label is something different ... we all know that i guess ...
but do u think 1 release every 3 Months or so keep a Label alive ? exept if it is a Madonna Album then maybe ... but we're not speaking about Virgin or Universal ...
we are speaking about a Trancelabel wich had well sold albums in the past ...
Most Labels do the bookings for their artist ... as its some extra income ...
if they just get 10% of a 10000$ Fee ... its already a lot of money ... and if they get this 3 times a Month it wouldn't hurt them for sure 
P.S.:
And by the way ... i never downloaded a Twisted release ... Allways bought them ... but why should i buy or download a product i don't like (i'm not speaking about twisted release here i'm speaking in general)...

people like me? so people that have bought both hallucinogen albums, the twisted dvd, a hallucinogen shirt and a VA or two are the reason twisted are in trouble? hmm making assumptions sure is dangerous huh.
