In the mid 90’s, when Israeli Psychedelic Trance Producers were dominating the scene, Tel Aviv based Assaf
Twina has been always a key player of the pack.
TWINA’S musical background started in Rock Music as a keyboard player in various Rock Bands. Soon he discovered
his love for electronic music and he started Djing as well as producing Psy Trance.
TWINA has played all major festivals including the Solar Vision - GDL in Mexico City, the Open Air Festival in Moscow
as well as the legendary Halfmoon - Fullmoon Festival in Thailand. His musical collaborations include works
with California Sunshine, Visual Paradox, Ultravoice, ITP plus many more!
His music is extremely powerful and rich in sound and often been described as Stadium-Music. His ability to pull
the crowd has been proven on many Festivals and it comes as no surprise that TWINA is booked for the Olympic
Basketball Games 2012 in London /England.
His 3th Album “Out as a Signal” will be released 12.02.12 on YELLOW SUNSHINE EXPLOSION and to
use TWINA’s own words: ”The album comes with the message to become a better person in order to make the world a much more friendly place. I have chosen 10 wisdom quotes about "life": Happiness, self-believe, visualizing, your dreams, global Communications and used those core messages as the underlying mood and theme for the tracks. I have also been able to work this Album from my musical background as Guitar- and Piano player, hence a lot of harmonies and melodies set the mood for the album making it a gentle mix between Pop/Rock music and Psytrance/ Dancefloor”.
