More than 15 years late in watching this series but it still plays out as one of the most brilliant things to be aired on TV.
Quite apparent that this set the flow of all future series especially stuff like Lost. The very eerie music also streamed off into a very underground sound/video cult movement.
Quite happy about this because I've only seen Season 1 now. There are 2 Seasons in total, and one full length movie that make up the Twin Peaks Saga.
Ah forgot to mention... this is a creation of David Lynch (along with author Mark Frost)

yea it s unfinished ;/
the people payin the serie to be done refused to do in the season 3 coz the story in season 3 was supposed to be too fucked up and senseless removin any meaning to the whole serie...
so they kicked the ass from david lynch... bunch of bastards.. lol
but u can find in some places around the internet some piece of stories that were supposed to be the seeason 3 ...there were some fucked up things bout aliens comin from a planet made of corn lol but dont worry it wont be spoil in the serie

Just finished the second season. Nothing short of brilliance from everyone from the director to each actor. cannot say enough to praise it
The great thing about watching it in this day is that you actually see how much of an influence this has had on popular shows and films: x-files, lost, true blood, scream and all those wicca inspired teen flicks. it's even more obvious when you see what kind of shows used to air on television before twin peaks.
Too bad the movie flopped, plan on checking it out anyway.

It certainly was! I think Lynch was just too tangential and morbid for the Cannes festival to deal with, that or they had no clue what the rest of the series was about.
Also it was a great way to wrap up the whole story by taking things back to the beginning.
