Can anyone recommend a not too expensive vid card for me that will allow me to use dual monitors??
I used to do it with two PCI cards while running Win 98se, which i'm thinking of reverting to, but at the minute I'm using XP and miss the space that dual monitors allows me for worktop.

i guess with nvidea from fx series all video cards have that option, and from ati i guess from the 9000 series all of them also work with 2 monitors
maybe i´m wrong but any video card you find nowadays in any store have the 2 monitors link option, ones with better resolution, others with no so good but... |

Check out Matrox cards. If you use the computer only for music production and not for games/3d graphics you should get their cards instead of Nvidia/ATI 3d cards. This way the PC will heat up less and the CPU will suffer less 3d cards' load.

The Matrox sounds like the baby, as I am using the comp for production only. But the Asus also sound like it has it's qualities(it's cheap).
You've given me much to ponder. Thanks. |
