Profile :
Melbourne born and bred, Raja Ram left Australia in the 50s to begin the hippie trail. He returned to study flute at the Melbourne conservatory, and then went to New York in 1965 to study jazz and improvisation. In the late 60s in London's Notting Hill Gate he formed Quintessence, a jazz-fusion Indian rock band that went on great success with 5 albums and over 400 live performances.
However in the early 70s due to personal reasons, retired to become an envelope salesman. In the early 80s with the advent of synthesizers Raja Ram was inspired to return to performing. A trip to Goa in 88 coupled with the acid house summer of love in England revealed to him a new genre; the
electronic world of psychedelic music. He worked for many years with Graham wood under the name The Infinity Project, producing seminal tracks such as "Stimuli". In 1994 Raja Ram had the brainwave to create TIP records, now known as TIP world.
He began DJ 'ing in '98 as this seemed a natural addition and progression to performing live. He is known for his groundbreaking work as "Shpongle" with Simon Posford, as the creator of 1200 micrograms with Ricktam and Banzi of GMS, and Chicago, and has had many collaborations with
psy-trance artists globally. Constantly touring, DJ 'ing, performing live and recording in the studio, he is one of the most in demand artists on the scene. Now entering his 64th year he feels like he's just getting started.
It all began in the mid eighties as a hip-hop, electro and funk DJ with a fascination for psychedelic and electronic music (and dancing in warehouses all night)!
In the early nineties, I moved on to the techno scene playing at clubs and events including Club UK, The End, Heaven, Fabric and Tribal Gathering. Since then I've been lucky enough to travel across the globe playing many styles of dance music, most commonly psytrance and techno/electro
sets (In 2007 I have toured in Japan, Russia, Brazil, Australia, Isreal, Serbia, Portugal and Greece).
After guesting at a TIP party in 1998, the TIP crew asked me to represent their label and in early 2001 I became label manager of Flying Rhino Records.
I have worked with friends and artists such as Aphid Moon, Laughing Buddha, Raja Ram, Hallucinogen, Prometheus, Eat Static, Tristan and Dickster. My most recent projects have involved working with Raja Ram, Aphid Moon, Prometheus, Laughing Buddha, Pogo and Sybarite. I also have a solo project in the pipeline (watch this space!).

Manufactured back in 1982,
it exists among people using the legit name Joey Dianos.
Oxya has its primary base established in Greece,
while its main purpose as a time-traveling robot is to constantly import sounds to the present time from the past and the future.
Oxya is currently powered by Adapted records (Australia)
which is totally responsible for its latest sound imports to this time.
One of the greatest shipments of sound is marked under the name"I See An Icy Sea" and is distributed worldwide in the medium of a full-length audio cd right now!
Born in Athens Greece, 1/08/1966 He has started to sing in Punk rock bands at the age of 16. After his music interests moved from punk to heavy and thrash metal ,where at the beginning of the 90s he started to mix metal and indie rock at small clubs and bars in Thessaloniki. At the same time he made his first contact with the first underground rave parties and got infected by the psychedelic sounds of trance. After 1996 he starts to mix psy trance at illegal parties in warehouses At the summer of 1997 ,he has been playing every summer as a resident dj at the open air club "Mojo" at the island of Ios along with international guest djs like:Atmos ,James monro ,Anti, Synchro ,Mark Allen etc. During the winter time he was travelling around the world and has played from small jungle and beach parties in GOA THAILAND,MEXICO and Byron bay Australia to big open air parties and festivals in : JAPAN Bomodori festival 2001 GERMANY Metripolis Trancemosphere party,Berlin 2003

At the beginning of 2002 he became an official dj of Candyflip records and has been promoting the label with his djsets in Greece and around the world for more than 6 years. These days he is an official dj of Harmonia records and plays psytrance with groovy elements.Also for the last 2 years he has been studying music production and created his new music project under the name DOCODE.
