Twilight Zone ... goes indoor ! 
Saturday 11th December 2004
FIX Community (26th Oktovriou 15 str.) - Thessaloniki
CANCELED !
Dear Twilight Zone friends,
Considering that it is quite fair but above all necessary, we would like to inform you with details the reasons that led to the final cancellation of the winter Twilight Zone version.
Everything was almost ready for the Ultimate Twilight Zone night on Saturday 11th December 2004 with people participation from all over Greece !
On Thursday 9th December (last night actually) and during the huge decoration process and settings which began 2 days ago with more than 15 workers and several deco artists and managers for building the extraordinary Twilight Zone event in the area of Fix Community in Thessaloniki and despite the official contracts with the management of Fix Community, a very serious but strange thing happened !
The management of Fix Community came to the location INSTANTLY at 00:30 after midnight (Twilight Zone crew was working there for more than 10 hours non stop!) and ask from the whole crew (promoters, decoration artists, workers, managers) to stop the process !!!
The reason was that they had VERY STRICTLY orders from Thessaloniki's Police Department (at 22:30 on Thursday night) for not doing this big ˇRAVEˇ¨ party for the obvious reasons ... Thessalonikis department ordered police operation in case of starting the whole thing !
Obviously the Police department learned about the event and its massive attendance as the promotion and advertisements was all around Greece, from Alexandrupoli to Serres, from Athens to Larisa.
Unfortunately and despite all promoter's efforts for making this event, the decision of Fix management was clear and definitive.
Twilight Zone management HAD the opportunity to change the location of the party but after a lot of meetings and ˇall night long¨ discussions, the final decision of the crew was to cancel it afterall as the alternative location wouldn't be the best option for the following very serious reasons :
1. The crew wouldn't have the time to set what they planned to set at Fix Community not only because the alternative location wasn't at the same arrangement but it was times smaller ! The final result would definitely be an aimless, fast and not professional move.
2. Second and most important reason : Twilight Zone crew would never take the chance to risk ALL those people who wanted to come to the party from the 100% untoward and negative Police appearance with the usual results ...
However Twilight Zone's most important issue is to protect and secure the party people !
Twilight Zone would like to apologise for the inconvenience and express its deepest regrets for this unpleasant conclusion which was beyond its power.
At this point we promise to do our best to find and move the event on another date and location with the perspective of a professional presentation equal to the summer Twilight Zone that it would be really worth it, in order to FREELY celebrate once again one of the few things that makes our life more beautiful and enjoyable :

What a pity. I was on my way when I heard about this (thanks tralala). I hope you get to make this happen twice as nice. I mean for once a different (and coherent) line up that is worth to make the distance to come to Thessaloniki. Better luck next time!

phew, now that this evil party is cancelled, I am sure the society of Thessaloniki is free from any dangers and everyone can feel more safely now...
On the one hand I am very pissed that events like this have to be cancelled due to police, on the other one i feel a bit proud that WE are the one the cops are looking for...keep it real and underground..... |

What can we say about all these.... 
I just hope everyone to understand how hard and risky is to organize a big event..nowdays
I also wonna hope that all this was not the attempt of someone who wanted to ruin such a wonderfull event...u got my drift...
keep on TwiLightZone!!!!!!!
