any advice on these lead sounds? Ive tried high passed detuned saws, reeses and hoovers but i just cant seem to get it rich and thick enough. I hear this sound all over ZA and Portugese psy but Ive never achieved it. Is there a trick like further processing Im missing or is this like a virus preset or something?

Ohh noooo please don do that.. I'm from Portugal and that is everywhere all because someone posted a "how to do a psytrance lead" using sylenth1 video on youtube, and it's all just copied of that synth sounds..
So, you can search youtube and find it yourself, but please do'nt.. just do it your own way (but it's like you described, maybe you should try adding a bunch of distortion, and the only difference from track to track would be the modulation envelope settings)

I hear ye mate but Im simply trying to improve my vocabulary and repertoire. I know millions of Metallica riffs on guitar but I dont play Metal at all. :
