Hey all,
I just got me a nice AKAI APC40 over ebay. Finally
I will start now to search for tutorial videos and all I can find about it, but it would be cool to get some tips and hints here aswell.
maybe some of you guys already know some tutorials or stuff about it?
Cheers,
kryten

Yeah, maybe there is, but it is a pain to search that forum.
You cant even search topics there.
But I already founds some basic tutorials for it on youtube.
For the more in depth stuff like custom scripts and stuff I will need to get used to the APC before as I dont understand much of that yet.
Cheers

Cant afford that too now that I bought the APC

Yeah, Im pretty excited what this thing might change wokflow wise.... I guess when I got used to it a bit I could finally just "jam" arround a bit with some clips&effects to see what comes out.
Recording those sessions should give me some more material to work with I hope.

You should take a look at this template. Not as good as isotonik but it still has some great features and will hold you over until you can purchase max.

yeah I used that template for a bit before I got darren's. Very good and he recently modded it so that you don't need anything besides his own custom script to use it whereas before you needed Bomes iirc.

There's also a good section in the Ableton Live Manual about the APC20/40. You should check that out. |
