The first part of my introduction to digital audio production tutorial videos is now online. The HD video series will follow and explain the processes involved with creating a tune from scratch in depth with no corners cut, accompanied by the Ableton Live working file (and samples) that were used in the video.

This video includes:

* An overview of Ableton Live's Arrangement view
* Basic physics of sound and waveforms
* Using waveforms to synthesize your own bassline from scratch
* Tips and tricks for using the Piano Roll
* Various ways to manipulate the bassline using Envelopes, LFOs and Automation
* Looping your bassline and adding in a Kick, Snare and Hihat to start constructing a real tune.

The full HD hour long parts will be released once per fortnight, and can be downloaded from the Pro members area of my personal website, http://www.TomCosm.com, while regular members can watch the video in 10 minute low res chunks, with a new video being released each week on Youtube.

Pro membership is the way that I earn my living as a full time musician while still managing to give away my music and teaching for free to those who are poor bastards.

Excellent.. I especially like implementation of pictures into tutorial to present it even more clear.. Also usage of free vsts.. Great work, fast, clear and easy to understand.. This is a must for beginners and is good repeating even for the pros..
All those who are not poor bastards should support this artist..

lol thanks for information about how the waveforms make the speaker membrane move it pulls and sucks depending the wave form great new notion
