Have you had a reply yet and if yes do you know if he takes payment by PayPal? elektric sheep how did you pay him?
I have wanted a copy since first seeing this thread but I'm also reluctant to buy from sites I don't know - I prefer to keep my card details to as few sites as possible, hence my preference for PayPal.
WRT to the mp3/wav thing, this site is quite interesting:

It's a short clip of the same track ripped with wav and mp3 at various bitrates for comparison. The 'solution' is now published but it's interesting to listen before knowing which one is wav etc. |

yeah gotta reply,hes gonna give a copy to a friend who will then return from africa to heathrow whereupon i will colect it , hopefully by post,
what a carry on.
i still dont know `when` other more general<legal> downloads will become available, i`ve asked robert @ melt he originally said not before august,we are well past that now .
i dont think the album is being marketed very well, i can see that its being kept strictly to 1 or 2 sources ,at present, ok if you live in Africa , i guess. |

Jay @ microdot was asking me if i thought it was worth him givin `his man` say 7 copies to bring back to the uk,are people interested in this? no f*****n around mind.
of course i have already said go for it for goodness sake,
still what takers are there on here?
i`m waitin for a price/shipping costs.
i`m guessing
it would be cd price plus a much better shipping charge to whereever you ,paticularly good,if you are in EUROPE |

well jay has contacted me again and say he will send the brand new version with 2 extra hidden trks for £10inc p& p to the uk anyway, i think it may be the same for elsewhere, the cds will be sent out from theuk in 3 weeks when the chap comes back from africa with them, ...........also jay says he a publisher of a magazine and if the lastest edition is ready he`ll throw some of them in for free too,the magazine features a good article by the kalahari surfers,
geez i`ve never worked so hard to get an album
or have i........................? |
