if you use PSP MixBass i think it can change bassline from mono to stereo.
if not and if you have cubase you can right click the bassline channel's pan, choose stereo combined pan and move the two faders to the center.

to make it pure mono (so it can be rooted to mono channels) i have no idea.

in cubase you can create MONO group channel track and route your bassline synth to it. you'll get 100% mono signal.

That's a good way to do so routing to a mono group track. Destroy fx also makes a plugin called Monomaker. I've used it a couple of times and it's pretty decent.           An Eagle may soar, but Weasels don't get sucked into jet engines.

btw most vst synths generate mono audiosignal if only one osc is enabled. the thing is how to make wide stereo signal =)

in the top of the instrument channel in the mixer you have it's destination, just change it

so if you send stereo to mono it becomes mono? didn't know that it converted automaticaly

just go to the mixer, then right click on the pan of the vst, there should be 3 other pan settings, dunno exactly which one is the right but with one of these settings you can switch L/R to Mono, just put L/R sepparat in the middle....

hope this helps

cheers

why so difficult:
create a group channel, opt for mono, then go into the mixer, find the channel you want to get mono - then in the top part above the slider route it to the group channel - instead of stereo out or whatever it says...

I guess the best way is to produce on mono. Is that right??

I have heard that the stereo in clubs/partys is not appropriate because the people is always moving around.... dancing, walking... Some producers says that if you produce on stereo, people on clubs would miss some music elements....           ...GrooveŽnŽdooR...

psy is not for clubs it's for the forest
try playing a mono lead and then play it stereo enhanced and hear the difference.
