Album : Turn On, Tune In, Burn Out
Label : Beyond Logic Records
Release date : 2010
Tracklist:
01-Exaile - Bunny Pusher:
It starts well, not too intense, but when the vocal enters... it ruins all, don't like
it and the melodies are too "happy"
5.5/10
02-Azax Syndrome vs Absolum - World of Illusion ( Magneto Remix ):
Good introduction, i dont know this artist well, but seems he's talented.
Good track.
7.5/10
03-Double r.e.l- Our Rave:
Nice pads and drums at the intro predict a good track, good bass on this one, not their
best track but it's a nice one.
7/10
04-Brainwash - Serotonine to The Brain:
Ok, this one realy gets me in! Great intro with great work creating a tense build up.
Then the tracks evoles to an amazing melody at 03:10. Can't stop listening to this track. The magic moment starts at 04:18. That reversed bass omg Great track
9.5/10
05-Technodrome - Silver Head:
Not much to tell about this guy, he makes amazing tracks and this is no exception.
Can't belive this begining.. So magic.. Realy love the first half of this track.
Nice work here.
8.5/10
06-Orca - Tina Tomorrow:
I'm loving his lasted tracks and this one follows the quality. Good bass, melodies and pace. At 04:08 he have an electric melody that is Orca's trademark.
Another great track
9/10
07-Cybernetix vs Ctl Alt Del - Syntax:
Good bass on this one. Not has good has the previous tracks, maybe too much melodic.
Not a bad track.
7./10
08-Xatrik - Dedication of Time
Love the intro on this one, and a good bass too. The most darkier track on this compilation which is good
8.5/10
09-Panayota vs Frozen Ghost - Shank N Bake:
I thought this combination would be a killer one, but this track is only good, not excellent and i was expecting that. Maybe i have to listen to it more times.
8/10
Final veredict:
8.5/10
Very solid compilation by Jafar, good selection of tracks and good cover too.
My favourit 3 track by order: 4, 5, 6
Hope you liked my review.

awesome cd - have been "digesting" it for the better past of the last couple of weeks now
all the tracks bring something to the cd - the exaile tune which some might consider out of place is nice too
orca tune is sick! massive massive stuff from this act and i hope this continues
cybernetix vs ctrl alt delete has also got a nice dimension to it - it has got enough of both the harsh and the melodic to make it interesting
karma crop - in control - steals the show for me, that bassline is pure business
also dug the mangeto, and double r.e.l tunes ... no bad tunes on this cd really
killer job by jafar on getting this together - and big up to beyond logic for keeping up the good work
looking forward to the new releases! all the best

Great compilation. Awesome tracks.
Mushrooms make you do crazy stuff. Look at Mario he jumps on animal heads and fights with dragons. |
