Dj Mogg is the pseudonym of Paulo Gameyski born during a cold winter in Bulgaria. At the age of 4 his mother decided to return to her home country so they moved to Portugal where Paulo started to grow with the local culture and values. After 13 years lost in the middle of buildings and standard rules of the Portuguese society Paulo started to listen to electronic music with friends in some underground parties, from that moment he noticed that this kind of music was his passion…..
Influenced in the beginning by artists like Logic Bomb, Yahel, Kox Box, Astral Projection, Atmos, Elements and others, Paulo moved his soul to this special world and by starting to get more in the scene he meet the wizards of this music who persuaded him to start spinning when they noticed he had a good hear.
The main line he likes to spin is psychedelic neo full-on where high production level is required. To listen, he likes progressive music, full-on trance and also chill out. The deep space atmosphere he likes to create in the dancefloors and clean mixes are his special gifts to the dancers.
He got his first booking in Bulgaria where he played with the best names of there like Vataff Project and Disham after that he his been playing with producers like Nomad, D-Tek, Planet Ben, Inner Action, Tikal, Blanka, Audiotec, Fatali, Xibalba, Lish, Sensifeel, Symphonix, Space Safari, Mapusa Mapusa and with Dj´s like James Monro, Bakke, Fabio, Dick Trevor, among others…
Nowadays Dj Mogg is affiliated with top label Planet BEN Records based in Germany http://www.planet-ben.net and Japan http://www.planet-ben.jp
