as far as creating lead sounds you gotta realize every synth sounds a bit different. then understanding how the audio is routed through the synth and what each part of the synth does can help you hear and pick out what that person did. i can generally tell what is going on in almost all music. if i can't tell what they are doing then imo they did something nice           http://www.youtube.com/user/trawhi (tutorials)

And yes part of my drum technique is derived from cosm. However the recording part and just throwing in and taking away hits to create a good continuous groove as it records is my own little trick which i discovered bfeoe i knew of cosm playing with my own live shows.           http://www.youtube.com/user/trawhi (tutorials)

Elad,
Im concerned about how much better are my tracks going to sound like after mastering.

Is it possible for you to put here a mastered track and its unmastered version so that we can see the diference?

Im only asking because I know you do mastering.

Thanks in advance.

Elad mate ,can u eleborate more on the harmonic cutting through ocatves mathamaticly an the theroy o why such surgical use improves the bassline .
I mean I just use n1,2 s series and gliss
with n12 I knock out 350hz, 2.2 & slightly at 30hz
with gliss I apply the Hp at what ever is needed dependin on the note. Eg e1 - 40hz
how do u go about it mate?

if you cut 350 hz on all your basslines it can be room issue

I don't cut 350hz completely.depends how well I've programed on synth first.

first thing the patch in source can make all the difference (for example if it doesnt have 110hz then cut there will do almost nothing)

i think that mostly the cuts doesnt necessarily make the bassline sound better rather the hole mix (leave more room for other sounds too)

sometime it does take out the "boxiness" out

some freqs i would check deep surgical cut for bass:
50hz - add/remove air
100hz-150hz - some mud here can be cleaned (or boost for extra power if it lacks)
200hz-400hz-800hz can resonate in un pleasing ways...

HP by note is good idea to not ruin the fundamental of the sound (if need HP at all.. shelves works better for me this days)

aswell as in sylenth1, got a preset pretty simular.
although in albino 3 its pretty easy to make a lead with this bitcrush sound in the fx square u have LoFi, choose type: STP and just playaround with the cutoff, bit, res and dif.
cheers!
