Was this ever released as a cd? i found some notion of it on green ant records but except for that it's almost non-existant!

Well... It is (http://www.panoramarecords.jp/release/base_0003.html), but that doesn't make it easier to find. It was available once on "http://www.techno.to", now it's sold out. |

I have this cd (just got it today in the mail). Its typical crazy Ubar Tmar stuff, which random time sig changes and complex bits and pieces all over. Since I have it, this album was obviously released. As was mentioned above it was released on Panorama, which is probably why it is so difficult to find outside of Japan. Panorama was kind of lazy about getting any sort of overseas distribution and seemed more than happy to sell to a Japan only market for awhile. Things seems to have turned around a bit recently and some of their cds are turning up on Saiko Sounds and such. Anyways, this seems to be especially the case with Eigou Kaiki as even the track listing is listed in Japanese (although there are English titles listed inside the cd).

It's quite sad that someone as established and unique as Ubar Tmar is not visible in the European festival circuit.

he is one of the originators of the japanese trance scene, and is still full power over here!
it is unfortunate that very few of our artists make it to the european festival scene, guess the flight is just a wee bit expensive to invite?
the party scene here is in the past year makin a nice little revival with more outdoor parties happenin.
after the demise of the super big orgs vision quest, arcadia, solstice, trance cafe, etc the scene sorta got a bit smaler, but i smell a little revival renaissance possibly happenin once more~
