Hey, I've been wondering how to make a sound that Hallucinogen used in the past. I forgot about the sound until I heard a Filteria track. You've been all a great help before so can someone give me advice on how to make it? Thanks in advance

Hallucinogen sound starts @ :26

Filteria sound stats @ 1:03 then gets layered @ 1:17

TB 303!!
try a Vst emulation or download rebirth at the rebirth museum

http://www.rebirthmuseum.com/

Rewire it with your host and record the best emulation of TB in my opinion...
Hail Rebirth! best fun with this awesome tool!

I was trying to get that sound with V-station but it wasn't right. You can get close with Soft Lead 1 Preset, then I compressed it with Waves C4 to get that nasally sound, even tried maxxbass for more nasally soundingness.

Some other VST would have to be used though. V-station wasn't exactly it.           www.musicproductionnatural.com || www.facebook.com/djamoeba | facebook page

Filteria sounds like analog acid sound!

Beautiful!
Hardware generated acid leads have a certain beauty that can't be emulated by software!
Software sounds too digital, most of the times.. at least to me.

I was curious...
Check out Filteria's studio!!

You say that this sound can't be made with VST's ? Seems strange i thought differences between analog and digital were almost inaudible ?

I think it depends on the emulation, some emulations make lots of features to get it to sound more authentic.. Like FM7, Imposcar and infact ReBirth...

the crisp of analog is subtle, an average person cant tell the difference, yet difference can be heard when playing it loud.
