i don t know if the zeta is close enought but try to sample it if you like the sound, for 1/16 basslin with only one note it s often better to sample .check the mother of all bassline thread. |

Z3ta+ is great for those sawbasses.. very clean sound...
i dont remember how a typical skazi bass sounds..
but if you listen and have some experience you might be able to replicate it...

You'll get your skazi bass sound right when your ears bleed of trying
nah seriously, I think only skazi and his production partners know.
There are so many parameters on a synth, I don't think you'll get a skazi bass synth preset, because only skazi can create one
But there's hope, you can create your own bass preset. Best way to do that is to reverse-engineer one as a beginner. Grab one of your favourite skazi-kill-o-matic tracks, grab a single bass sound out of it.
Now lock yourself in a dark room with fresh water and bread, your daw and lots of time. Take your favourite pir8 softsynth. Dial in an initial preset, disable the effect unit, disable every osc except one. Choose a saw wave, now try to recreate a sound that resembles fairly the sound you got from that skazi track... right, I hope you can follow to this point.
Now if you feel brave enough, activate the second osc again and give some pulsewidth. detune it slightly and use your ears. wow, now we should have a way fatter sound.
Eq the shit out of it, add compression so higher notes don't clip your meter. Use common sense for the loudness of the basssynth. It shouldn't be louder than the kick, although it can. Keep it mono, some use phase shifting on it... So many ways it's almost impossible to put it in a single post.
I'm out for now

Skazi bass: Alesis Andromeda through an Eventide Orville followed by a Cranesong STC-8, EQed with a TubeTech EQ 1A then it goes into a Cranesong HEDD and then a Lynx L22 into the computer.
Go and buy that gear. It only costs about 20.000$ When you have it I'll guide you through the settings.
Seriously though, I am getting fed-up with all these newbies wanting to have instant satisfaction and not actually making the effort to learn their equipment and learning how to make music.
If you don't like to spend hours and days and months tweaking untill you have the right sound, YOU SHOULD NOT EVEN ATTEMPT TO MAKE PSYTRANCE. This isn't for you. This isn't your calling. You will never be good let alone great. Sell your gear and start learning to knit or something.
Sheesh ...
