Heyyy yo. I just won 85.000.000.000 zillion dollars. obviously

I just wrote a new article on trusting yourself. I don't know if it's what everyone needs to read, but for me, this was a big thing; a kind of stepping stone in my music production journey.

Check it out and tell me what you think. 100 euros per post. hahaha. man that's a fun thread.

But really would like to hear if anyone has given this some thought as well.

Receiving feedback is very nice and all, but having our vision and keeping that vision above feedback is crutial. (Technical feedback is another story thou)

So that article should be read by a lot of people here. (And i'm not saying this in a bad way)

Agree fully! A big part of trusting myself meant I had to stop second-guessing, stop doubting myself, stop being a pessimist and trust the inner feelings of joy and excitement to be the true judge of whether or not Im on the right track. (also that means if those feelings arent there, it may not be the right track)

We all should be making our art, whatever it manifests as, for the sheer joy of it, because thats the whole point of it, at least as far as I can tell.

Thats the whole point of LIFE ITSELF so far as I can tell.

THanks for the article, its important stuff for everyone to consider, and not just in artistic endeavors either. Id only add that a healthy self-criticism is also a helpful component of that trust, because that trust can become overconfidence and arrogance in the right conditions, blinding us to flaws and shutting our ears to really constructive advice.
