so my first party in Japan for a long time...I cruised along early to meet up with friends and watched the thing come together (slowly)  it was one of those instantaneous `fill up` affairs.!! one minute we look at the clock and think...`hmm, is anyone coming`... and the next hour it was filling up nicely..... from the dancing point of view the floor had just enough elbow room ...the deco was nice and fluro fluffy.... and the layout of the venue was `punter friendly`....
....Musically there were some good stompy moments and the crowd was full of good enthusiastic energy....no freaks or fuckups were evident....but finally for me and my international tastes.. there were some very `cheesy` musical moments and at those times i went and had a nice hot cup of chai It was great to see old friends (and some new).. and it was nice to have a dance again after soooo long without.... but I just cant seem to transend some of those `old` sounding leadlines that permeated alot of what was played...
it was full on and powerful (but in the wrong way for me).... PsyberCartel played a nice set and i stomped alot ^ he is gonna go along way imo^... but there wasn`t enough musical variety throughout the whole night..... the styles were variously similar.......
