Looks like he's heading the same direction as Abakus - moving towards less and less psychedelic music .... not sure about this release (based on samples) - gonna wait for cd to arrive to give it a proper listen.

I've always enjoyed the Tripswitch output but in my opinion this is a superb album. A very pleasant surprise!
Definitely a bit of a shift in style but all the better for it (I disagree that it's a shift in the same direction as Abakus). Certainly reminiscent in places of Sigur Ros and maybe Ulrich Schnauss too.

Excellent album...totally agree that he hit the thirdeye with Circuit Breaker and diverged towards more groovy territory with Geometry....but it's not quite as much as Abakus. This still qualifies as chillout.
Reminds me a lot of the sounds from Hello Waveforms by William Orbit. The compositions however are signature Tripswitch, beautiful pads and piano melodies, especially the track Harmonic Mean.
Getting hooked by this one on a lovely Sunday afternoon

some good tracks in this album, "concentric cycles" is probably the highlight for me.
Not entirely sure about the whole album yet. |

I agree with you about this track. And i want to take notice of track "Strange Parallels". I think they are the most strong tracks of this album.

Excellent work and nice sunny sound-structures! Bravo, Tripswitch!  For me personally "Harmonic Mean" - best track in new Nick's album. "Strange Parallels" track originally was wrote by Jessica - Nick's wife.
