trikol gurtu is like the grand daddy of asian music ......... almost most of the asian biggies like Asian Dub Foundation and Talvin Singh have been influenced by his music.........sadly i dont own any of his works.........guess iam gonna head to my music shop right now.........

4-5 years ago, i guest him in a psyberpunk party, for the opening ceremony ... everybody told me before the party: "brousse you smoke too much, be realistic: this is a trance party, nobody will care about him" and bla bla bla ...
he was suppose to play half an hour, ..
finally 1500 people on the floor were screaming like mad, everybody claping in the end to do the rythmic ,... and finally he play more than one hour !! ;o))
definitivly Trilok Gurtu rocks !!!!

From "Brazilian" to "Rajasthan", his music covers an amazin array of smoothness, n majestic diversity! Hats off to him...
