Hey guys,

I was just messing around with these two to see which comes up with the best sounding bass..I processed them both in exactly the same way..

Tell me which one you think sounds better..

Trilogy:

CronoX 2:

Its late & i'm listening at very low volume so the levels might be a little messed up..To me it sounds like the CronoX has a little crisper high end & the Trilogy more bottom but i can't really tell at this volume..           http://www.soundcloud.com/getafixmusic

it s hard to say cause of the level, the cronox is a lot louder, trilogy sound purest to me, less bad frequencies but it can be the level difference.i like both, wich saw you used in trilogy?trilogy need some db more and maybe less lowend and it ll be my favorite

Yeah i think the volume is not really balanced for both..I'll post new examples tomorrow morning

I used the Juno 60 for trilogy & for cronox i just tweaked one of the presets till it sounded right to me..

EDIT:
Here's a new link for the trilogy:

they both sound very unnatural and boomy and over compressed. also sounds like u used quadrafuzz but u didnt set the correct crossover points.

i think both have different uses. both of them are my favorite synths but when i use them i produce completly different basses. so doing the same on both is not a good test
in my humble opinion: cronox is the bomb for --- basslines and trilogy is the bomb for _-_           Pyrex :: Traveling without moving

Yeah you gotta realise i was making these at midnight at really low volume so i ended up over processing them..

What do you mean by the correct crossover points?           http://www.soundcloud.com/getafixmusic
