in C5, it just works without doing anything special. i don't have sx3 installed any more, but i think it was the same there. in the modulation section you can also select velocity as the source for your amp modulation. i just tried both ways and both work just fine.

hmm i think i need a reinstall of trilogy, whatever i try its not happening, thanks anyhow
