when you buy Trillian you need to get the download (update) from the Spectrasonics site to get all the new and updated patches.
If you havent bought it well i dont know what you need to do.....maybe buy it

actually if you will have installed it correctly it still is a bit of a bitch to start of with as there are no presets that i know of in trilian that are good for 16th baselines..
to get a start do as follows:
- take a synth bass patch that comes with trillian (choose via category in the preset browser)
- deactivate all modulation in the modulation matrix of layer a (click + next to modulation to see all the modulations)
- deactivate layer b (can be done in the "mix" part on the left. to make sure only one source plays at a time for a clean single oscillator bass patch to start of with)
- click the picture of the sound source on the edit page of part a to choose which source is loaded, got to "classic waveforms" "saw waves" int the source browser, choose one of them, maybe a moog, tb303 or juno waveform
- if the sound is chorusy check if multi is activated
now you should have only one saw oscillator playing and you can modify the sound with the usual envelope tweaks.. one thing: if you choose the flat envelope curve modus in the upper right part there will be no midi programmed velocity differences audible in you bass patch, if you want velocity choose another one
and play with the zillions of filters for a totally different sound
trillian is a bit bitchy to really get but then a powerhorse and top notch sound monster!

Hi,
you can try to find the SH-101 presets, they are pretty good for fat bass ! |

Actually you dont need to load a patch, you can just click the picture and chose directly, and you wont have to deactivate layer b nor modulations |
