hi mates im after a phaser for noise sweeps that can be triggered when i hit a midi note when its connected to a midi channel that a synth is playing through. i'm using the waves enigma but its such a pain in the a$$ to time correctly with my sweeps. lets just say im triggering a 4 bar noise sweep through albino with the attack on the filters envelope, i want to be able to trigger the phaser at the start of the sweep, but the way the enigma works is its on a constant sweep, and i have to keep pausing and starting hopefully getting the timing right. not as easy as it sounds.

is there any vst phaser's which can trigger the phase when i trigger the midi note??

im also after some handy advice to get the sweeps really sucking. im in love with reversing filter sweeps. what processes do you guys use to achieve nice sweeps? fx's etc?

cheers amigos.

hmmm well after my post i got thinking i've come up with a solution. quite simple really

record lots of hits with the phaser over the top, mixdown and choose the best one this way i can modulate the phaser just right.

but i still am curious to hear other methods for making sweeps falls etc. please share
