yeah sad indeed . met the band members a couple of weeks ago in delhi at the copenhagen climate summit concert. a new vocalist had joined them as replacement for asheem. one thing that was clearly being missed was the percussion which was taken care of by the drummer and the tabalchi treating the audience to jugalbandis the likes of which i've never heard or seen before.
didnt know about asheems ailment, it really is a sad sad day for music.

its a sad day for the indian music scene..i myself play in few bands here in delhi..n the death of a band member is unrepairable n inconsolable...may he rest in peace n rock on..jai hind!! |
