Well what can i say.....................
after the most anticipation ive had before any party
(1st gig excluded)japan proved to me a great stomping ground
we arrived at 6 am waited an hour for our lift to arrive, and then headed straight down to the prawn
& spaghetti bar for breaky.after slurping down a few unkown seafood specimens, our host took us onm the grand tour........the yokohama express!!
after squeezing inb to the hotel room, bumping heads on just about everything, finally got to unwind for an hour(of serious turkey drinking).then the call came ........sound check....
after meeting double dragon(our sound engineer for the night)swapping stories and sound levels,we realized that the system we where playing from was state of the art.
no complaints here folks, this system was the shit!!
double turbo sound with rolls royce trimmings!!!
vjs came and set up their stuff,we had someone who had previously worked on godzilla so,he knew what he was doing!!!
music started of very serious.......
i dont think they like the warm up sets, because after smoothing into it with sphongle, skazi was next of the blocks.........
benza hit centre stage with a wild assortment of windmills, and the teh-haminka chant!!
withhis swirling melodies and a keyboard solo that went for a whole track,he drove them nuts!!!
benza was the first to make new friends that night.......
All of a sudden the scene was set....you could feel the anticipation in the air,mr peculiar was primed,as where the japanese crowd.
Well right of the bat Mr p reached into his magic bag of audio treats and the place almost instantly responed ,it may have been his first time there, but mr p looked to have the crowd eating out of the palm of his hand,in true "local" japanese style,
the peculiar patterns started forming, sending everyone in yokahama to a "special place".
people seemd to be crawling out of the woodwork and the whole of yokahama bay began to move as one,
rizes and falls in the music seemed to be followed with a natural instinct to scream in delight
sweat was dripping and the energy was rising ....the stage had been set for Ozzy to continue the powerfull vibes
you couldnt ask for a better reception......
after the musicians had there go it was time for a little bit of djing,& after the first two performances, there wasnt really anywhere else to go but up.
and up we went, delving deep into the tribeadelic box,we previewed many australian artists, familiarizing these guys with our sound!!for which australian trance has a new fan!!
in all the night was one of high quality tunes & total enjoyment by everyone.
the next day was spent nursing some seriously damaged heads, eating fist sized dimmies in yokohama china town..
(next tribeadelic japanese installment sept 1st mt fuji outdoor trance extravaganza !!!)

thanks for the review ozzy! I could already picture the party in my mind! I am sure it was crazy.
Yes the organizer of your party does like to skip a warm up and just boost it up from the begining. I am sure you guys had fun.
I bet you guys made of tribadelic fans. Good luck to your label and all! will be waiting to see your team in Japan.
