this party was ridiculous.
the line-up delayed like 3 hours , the "super" array sound system failed soooo many times.
17:30 D-Nox & Beckers ?
BULLSHIT! there was no D-Nox & Beckers in this party...
Du Serena proved us he doesn't know how to organize a party and that the only thing he cares about is money. u should be ashamed of this man...it was really disappointing.

as far as I know there it was raining heavily in Itu and they had to stop the party because of it. D-Nox & Beckers were there but did not play due to the problem with the weather. too bad, they would kick all the hommega crew back to israel hehehe
anyway, kiwi_psy, i don't know any person from tribe, but I don't think a serious organization like them ONLY cares about money like said b4 in this thread, otherwise they'd never bring Infected, Astrix, D-Nox&Beckers,Pena, Sub6, Joti and many others for a 1-day party. money is just a consequence for the hard work my friend..

I completely agree with ziwi_psy. I don't know if Du Serena only cares about money. I know he knows how to mix, but how to organize a party of this size (much more than 20.000 people)?
Let's see some "details".
- The Sound System had problems a lot of time and shutting down sometimes. Complete incompetence of the organization.
- Laurent, Pena, D-Nox e Beckers did not play. This means: No proggy at all. Complete incompetence of the organization 2, the mission  .
- The line up delayed 3 hours. Can you imagine this in a party big like this one? Complete incompetence of the organization again.
- The parking costed R$ 15.00 and was not organized at all. Ridiculous.
- Much more than 100 cars stuck in the mud, including all kind of imported and potent 4x4 "camionetes". I think now there are still cars stuck there!
- Not to mention Infected Live with guitars on all tracks and Duvdev's vocals in 85% of the tracks. It was more like U2. Where is the psy? No track from any of their albums except I'm the supervisor.
I'll publish my full review tomorrow. I high encourage everyone who was there to post reviews.

biOnic, I respect your opinion man.
But i think that the weather is no excuse for incompetance problems. the majority of the problems were caused by incompetence of the organization.
Unfortunatelly I faced all the problems listed by full_on including getting my car stuck on the mud.
As full_on said i also encourage everyone who was there to write reviews about this party. I believe there was almost 30.000 people in the party and for sure 95% of them are not happy with the organization of the event. |

Hello Everybody,
On behalf of Infected Mushroom, Astrix, Sub6 and myself, i would like to express our deepest respect to Tribe for coming up with the BIGGEST trance party we ever took part in. The venue was so beutiful with big chunks of rocks that looked like they were dropped by spaceships. The stage and backdrops were HUGE and you could feel that a lot of work was put into their creation. The sound system was high quality and strong (for those who say there were sound drops, please remember the sound system was very wet from a rainy night and it could be that the wetness created some electronic disturbances in the system).
Standing on stage all through the live acts Infected Mushroom, Astrix and Sub6 and seeing the massive reactions of the crowd to each and every track (the ones they know and also the ones they did not know) was for me an experience that i will never forget as i could feel the waves of energy all over my body.
We are taking part in big events all over the world and i can tell you without a doubt that Tribe's 5th birthday will be noted in trance history as the day that Brazil proved to be the BIGGEST and BEST in the trance scene.
About the weather, i am sure that everyone understands that no man can control the weather. The rainy night caused a lot of damages and the delay in the line up was natural as everybody was trying to contain the damage and keep the party from going down and the same goes for the horrible storm that attacked in the evning and threatened to fill the sound system with water and might have even caused human casualties if the Tribe people did not wisely decide to close the party and get to the almost impossible mission of letting people know that it was time to head home and not risk anyone by tempting them to stay in an open place in the middle of one hell of a nasty storm.
So again, on behalf of Infected Mushroom, Astrix, Sub6 and myself...muito obrigado to Tribe and to Brazil for welcoming us into their culture and making us all feel truely special. We love & respect you all

My review:
I arrived at the entrance at 4:45am. I had to stay on the line of cars until 5:20am, a lot o playboys running out of the line to arrive first, no respect at all, some of the ended stuck on the mud. A miracle happened and my friend found a way to park the car. Complete madness on the parking… It costs R$ 15.00 and no organization at all, a lot of stuck cars on the mud…
I got into the party thinking that the Joti Sidhu Live was over. To my surprise Marcelo VOR was playing commercial music... It seems the dance floor’s response was better for more energetic and less psychedelic music. Sad…
Huge Sound System, but with a lot of problems… Ridiculous… Monstrous and expensive equipment that just does not work… Bad equalization, shutting down a lot of times. In other words, very bad sound system.
The Joti Sidhu Live started with 3 hours of delay… Can you believe that? 3 hours of delay in the line up in a party big like that… Complete incompetence of the organization! At least the Live didn’t happened when I was on the line of cars, waiting more than one and a half hours to get in.
The Joti Sidhu Live was very good, except fro some troubles on the Sound System. Started with New Sensations followed by Live Fast Die Young rmx. He also played Signals rmx followed by Distorted Reality. He closed with Long Long Arms. The Live was well produced and with a lot of new tracks and a lot of modifications on the already released tracks.
Infected Mushroom DJ set, normal mixing, nothing special. Only big hits. Best track was Elation Station (Beat Hackers rmx), some troubles on the sound system… He played only commercial stuff, including the Chakra remix of On the Ground.
Infected Mushroom Live: Started with a guest (another Erez) playing guitar. People screaming, he playing easy chords with his mouth (think he was good), ridiculous… I thought I was in a rave, but honestly it looked much more like an U2 show. The guy played guitar in ALL tracks. No music from The Gathering. No music from Classical Mushroom. No music from BP Empire. No music from Converting Vegetarians. Only the tracks with vocals from I’m the Supervizor (Muse Breaks, Cities of the Future, I’m the Supervisor) + Coolio rmx + Now is the Time and some new tracks with vocals. Ridiculous. Not psychedelic at all.
Duvdev does not knows how to sing, his voice is terrible in the live, the holds the microphone too far from his mouth and then too close, he is a complete unprepared singer. That guitar in all track was the end… Too commercial.
Stop and think: Where is the psychedelia? There was none! How can there be psychedelia with the commercial vocal tracks, full of guitars and with Duvdev interrupting the Live twice to say: “Thank you Săo Paulo, blah, blah, blah...” What the hell is that? And the “biss”??? The Live was over and they come back to play the Biss song: I Wish rmx. Just like rock shows…
They choose the commercial way, abandoned the psychedelic way, I know it’s their choice, that’s what they want, ok, I’m OUT.
In the exit dozens of cars stuck in the mud, it was a miracle I found a way to get out, I ws pushing the car with my own hands, a lot of stuck cars blocking the way of the cars that were not stuck yet. Cars hitting each others… There are still cars stuck there today.
Booked artists, with names in big letters on the flyers that didn’t played: Laurent, Pena, D-Nox e Beckers. This means “NO PROGGY AT ALL”. Fake line up. Complete incompetence of the organizers.
Negative points:
- Security Team abusing in the search and searching too much some people and not at all others.
- The party looked like a shopping center. Mostly Patys and Playboys talking and taking pics with their expensive Cell Phones.
- Prices.
- Parking.
- Sound System. Terrible equalization, a lot of troubles, shutting down during the Sets, distorted sounds and noises. Trash.
- Infected U2.
- 3 hours of delay in the Line Up.
- No decoration at all (except in the Chill Out).
- Billions of drugs, overdoses, no assistance from medical team or security team.
- Much more than 20.000 persons (I think there was around 30.000).
- Impossible (more than 30 minutes on the line) to buy tickets for water or any drink. Same problem or worse to buy food.
- Many more.
Positive points:
- Joti Sidhu Live.
- Friends.
Verdict: One of the parties with the worse organization I ever saw. I never saw so much incompetence from the organizer in my whole life. Rain is not excuse. I was to other Tribe parties and they were acceptable, but in this one it seems they wanted to do something much bigger than they could handle.
Sorry, Eyal Yankovich, rain is no excuse at all. Or next time please write on the Flyer: "If rains the Sound System will present a lot of problems and shut down a lot of times, half of the artists on the Line up will not play, the Line up will have 3 hours of Delay and hundreds of cars will be stuck on the mud".
Tribe = never again.
To anyone who say that he liked the party:
Of course I had fun. I had fun with my friends as usual. But just because I had fun it does not mean the party was good. The party had a lot of problems and they should be addressed to be avoided in the future. I hope people can learn with their mistakes. I learnt my lesson.

I know that it is dificil to cancel a party as the Tribe, and after the contracts made with artists.... to put nao was better used you common-sense?
or it will be that the money valley more than we?
unhappyly the result was what we saw, but waits that in next Tribe in them let us be priority and not it money.

So funny....it seems we read the same book all time. Full_on, I really appreciate your review. But come on, you have to go there to check what Tribe means??
It is a matter of choice. You have paid for that. It is all known.
In Brazil we have lost the psicodelia some ages ago. Unfortunately Hommega give us a good quality of mastering, but it come together with beautiful U2 vocals....do you know what I mean?? Unfortunately Tribe gives us some well know artist, but it come together with a great invoice and some playboys.... It is a matter of choice.
I do not want to criticize this person or that person. Everybody does what they feel about. But we have a choice of been together or not been together.
I do not care about the quantities of people. 30.000 people do not mean anything. The scene does not mean better with or without people.
Who does not know our country should visit some AXE party over here. You will probably find the same people that are used to go to Tribe. It’s a matter of choice.
My choice was staying at home.

I arrived (Tribe) at IM live act, i think they were playing Muse Breaks...the sound system was poping, craking, the bass on the rigth side was much more powerfull then the left one...hey Erez and Duvdev you know how to do good music and you know how to play then Wy when you come to Tribe you play only XACOTAS only vocals and guitars?...man we know music...RESPECT...no more words...
Christian i read your text on balada planet, and i know that you didn´t play because it wasn´t safe...but i saw your set on trancendence so i´m ok...please come back with beckers to show wath you do best...
