After you finally got inside the party, apart from the excessive amount of people which was expected anyways, you got all you could expect from Tribe's organization: good sound system, nice deco, they finally made a chill out which was quite simple but very nice as well (with a great view of the party), good bar service, although there was a bit of a wait to manage to buy tickets for food and drinks at the cashier.
But the traffic to get there was so hectic (I was stuck in 2 hours of traffic, some people up to four hours) that even if the whole thing was at an above normal level of perfect organization, if aliens landed and played ultra intergalactic music, etc, etc.... even then the party would've been lousy because of how annoying the traffic to get there was. Even though the party itself was good, I haven't yet heard one single person who thought it was an overall good experience because of how turned off they were when they got at the party due to the traffic they had to stand to.
Overall rating:
Not considering the traffic jam - 8/10
Considering the traffic jam - 4/10
@full_on - from what i heard, apparently infected played only 1 new song in their live

in few words, it was fucking awesome but i never want to go to a tribe rave again
i've spent the last 24 hours trying to figure out why me and most of people i've talked to think that way
and reason is: besides superb infrastruture, kick ass sound (even with du/dahan unexpectedly playing like psytrance gods), people in party was not ok
btw, can anyone tell me the name of 2 1st musics du played in his set? thanks a lot

this party sucked big time! thousands of playboys and pitbulls who have no idea what real psychedelic experiences look like listening to the most boring music you can imagine and smelling their lance parfume all the time... what a bad, infantil trip! this is definitely destroying our scene here in brasil and making psytrance a pop-thing which is killing it sooner or later. even the live of infected mushroom was faked, the guy never played the guitar for real! shame on them... solaris will be the same trash! completely sell out parties for close-minded people and childreanwho never saw the real spirit of the trance-parties as it was some years ago and who think that gays like skazi and infected really make psychedelic music... hahahahaha... a bad joke!!! |
