						Holy smokes!

This shit is da bomb dude, no doubt about it.

One of the best Dakini comps. in my opinion.

 WoW!

From brilliant ethnic & exciting & well put together middle-eastern grooves to deep seated shit-yer-pants ambient vibes, this CD takes the cake by all means. The two Makyo tracks are out of this world, & the Kaya Project RMX & Dubsahara & Adham Shaikh trax are just beyond words. Goddam...Ouch!

Thank you for the infinite excursions made possible with this release from the bottom of my mother-f**king heart.

And I really like the blue design! It really gives a completely surreal & refreshing feel to the whole Dakini experience. Good one.

On another note, also hope Muntadhr al-Zaidi, the Iraqi journalist who threw his shoes @ George W. Bush gets his appreciation for providing inspiration to this too! I'm sure it would blow his mind to receive "Tribal Matrix 2" in the post, wherever he is. Do let us know if he gets in touch!!!!

 Peace!

You have a copy of this ? I can't find any info about buying it on the Dakini site. Asked them about it over myspace and had no reply.

I e-mailed them directly and was able to order from them. Price I paid was $21USD including shipping to The States.

I don't know about TechMonkey but I really like it. Had it for a few days now and it has been high on my playlist!

It's very much in the usual Dakini style of course and certainly has a very ethnic feel to it. I's say if you liked the first one you'll like this a well.

I think it's an amazing release. As mk1 mentioned very ethnic/traditional vibe to it. I personally think this album has more going on overall than the first. It's just got this fuller sound while maintaining the same feel. Though that could just be my ears. The feel is very traditional and acoustic. I may try to type up a detailed review this weekend if someone doesn't do it first. Though I worry I couldn't do a detailed description of the album justice. |

This is Dakini doing what Dakini do best. Real ethnic sounds, not ethnopsychill. This just has such an amazing quality to it that makes it stand out

Thanks for your views. The samples sound the goods too.

I reckon i'll pick it up at some stage, but first I think I need to fill in some of the gaps in my Ultimae collection before the re-issues all disappear.
