does anyone have any idea where to get such things? you can skip the 'record your own' tip. Tried it, sounded like verbal diarrhea of the mouth.

first i will find material which has these chants or wht ever.. i would prolly type tribal chants in google or in this case youtube and start from there.. i found this one something similar but the guy who post made remix of it.. so maybe not tht useful.. it from movie blueberry where shaman can be heard signing icaros(the first few seconds).. the movvie has more...

more likely you are downloading 320/480, so your probably getting just over 64kbps, that = REALLY fucking shit |

really man try to record your own just don't be shy! i made some recordings of tribal stuff in the past and thought they sucked but after some time i got used to them and stoped being microphone shy. now i record sounds with my voice in almost every track!
... on the other side, try spectrasonics stuff

@jonsta: i tried it, hated it, moved on to the next option.
@nomad moon: thx bud, i would eternally appreciate that as i'm currently developing something that needs some chants turned psychedelic in the middle.
regarding the youtube thing, that's not really an option for me because i have limited web connections atm (moved out), besides i wouldn't do it if i had the internet for it because the quality really sucks, and i like to work with crystal clear stuff.
spectrasonics seems quite interesting but seems a bit too much work just for this, you know so..
