I was cruising some of the drum & bass forums and I came across this interesting posting
http://www.mtldnb.com/index.php?name=News&file=article&sid=9

Of course there are a couple of limitations that would keep many of us from actually entering the competition... namely that it must be a breakbeat oriented track, but that'll give people a reason to do some psybreaks anyway...

Good job Trent...           An Eagle may soar, but Weasels don't get sucked into jet engines.

I like that track "The Hand That Feeds" by NIN.
Let's all make a psy-break-mix
Nice link Mubali...

No problem y'all... I figured it would be a good idea to mess around with it and see what happens...           An Eagle may soar, but Weasels don't get sucked into jet engines.

if you have a Mac and and a program that supports Apple Loops (Logic will convert them to audio), you could get the arragment as well from the source
http://www.nin.com/current/

while it's far from being my favorite NIN song, it certainly nice to hear the production           "a new art came into my mind which only you can create, the Art of Noises, the logical consequence of your marvelous innovations." Russolo, 1913

I had always wanted to remix down in it... I wanted to remix closer as well, but Shift beat me to it...           An Eagle may soar, but Weasels don't get sucked into jet engines.

I don't think that I will submit my remix either, but it doesn't mean I won't warp their sounds into something unrecognizable... hehehehe... (who said sampling is dead?)           An Eagle may soar, but Weasels don't get sucked into jet engines.

Actually the bpm to the song is 128....

Man... I am having a blast remixing this track. I haven't added any of my own synths yet, I just warped virtually all of the audio that I got with the sample pack and have been going to town. I love the buffer overide and phatmatik pro... I will post a link to this track once it's done in a couple of days. I am more than halfway done with it...

I decided not to even worry about making a psybreakz version...           An Eagle may soar, but Weasels don't get sucked into jet engines.
